John Druke
CxO Management Advisor
John has over 35 years of experience serving in or consulting for the public and non-profit sectors. He has led and provided consulting services for business and technology transformation programs in the health and human services sector, public sector financial management, and private sector health care and financial management.
Prior to joining Cloud and Things, John was a Partner in KPMG’s Management Consulting practice. He provided management consulting services to state and local governments throughout the country. Over twenty years, he gained increasing responsibility for leading and developing teams to provide program- and IT-focused services. He developed a team of 35 professionals to serve the State of New York and specialized in providing large IT-project assistance. In particular, he developed criteria and approaches for assuring high quality results from complex IT projects.
For the Institute of International Education, John led the overhaul of computer systems and financial and program applications over a six year period.
John served the New York City Department of Juvenile Justice as an operations analyst. He developed new programs for children in group homes and foster care while they waited for appearances in court. The programs included high school classes, recreational and arts programs, and volunteer programs. For two years, John taught high school math, physics, and English literature to students in a rural area of Swaziland that included refugees from Mozambique, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
