Christine Tolcser

Christine Tolcser is the former New York State Human Services Cluster Information Security Officer for the Office of Information Technology Services (ITS). She is currently the Cloud and Things Information Security Officer.
She has over 20 years’ experience as an information technology professional with information security and project management skills. She holds multiple industry certificates, such as CISSP and GSEC. Christine has had experience working with software developers, database and operations staff, to identify security vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies. She has over 15 years of experience developing business continuity strategies for large and complex organizations, and over 10 years in information and cyber security project management knowledge.
Christine advises clients in the secure transition to Cloud technologies; procurement through development of the service level agreement, compliance requirements review and subsequent implementation. She also provides information security services such as; risk assessments, policy development, audit preparation, data classification, SSDLC, and DLP, business impact analysis (BIA) to support DR and Business Continuity activities.
